Text: Mark 5:25 – 34

The scripture is a very powerful story of perseverance, healing, and faith.

  1. No condition is beyond God’s power. Jesus can heal what people consider impossible.

Application: Never conclude that your situation is beyond God’s intervention.

  2. Faith is the key that unlocks divine miracles. The woman believed before she received.

Application: Build your faith through God’s word and act on his promises.

  3. Never give up because of delay.

Lesson: 12 years of suffering did not stop her from seeking Jesus.

Application: Delayed answers are not proof that God has forgotten you.

  4. Human solutions have their limits. She spent everything on physicians without improvement.

Application: Appreciate professional help but place your ultimate trust in God.

  5. A personal encounter with Jesus changes everything. One touch of Jesus ended 12 years of affliction.

Application: Pursue a genuine relationship with Jesus instead of mere religious activities.

  6. Determination will always overcome obstacles. She pressed through the crowd despite opposition; she was too determined.

Application: Don’t let fear, criticism, or challenges stop you from seeking God.

  7. Genuine faith produces action. She did not only believe; she acted.

Application: Let your faith influence your decisions, prayers, and obedience, not your condition.

  8. Jesus noticed genuine faith. Though the woman was surrounded by many people, Jesus recognized the touch of faith. You can be very close to the altar and disconnected from the mantle.

Application: God distinguishes sincere faith from empty religious routine.

  9. God is interested in individuals.

Application: Your needs matter to God even in the midst of many others.

  10. Healing includes restoration of dignity. Jesus publicly called her “daughter,” restoring her identity and acceptance.

Application: God restores not only health but also hope, purpose, and honor.

  11. Testifying glorifies God. She openly told Jesus the whole truth.

Application: Share what God has done to encourage others and let all glory be to him.

  12. Fear must give way to faith. She approached Jesus with fear but still came forward.

Application: Courage is acting in faith even when you feel afraid.

  13. Peace is part of God’s blessings. Jesus said, ‘Go in peace.'

Application: God desires emotional, spiritual, and physical wholeness. (3 John 2)

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth"

3 John 2

14. Jesus brings complete healing. She was healed completely, not partially.

Application: Trust God for total restoration in every area of your life today.

15. Faith leads to salvation and wholeness. Jesus declared, “your faith has made thee whole."

Application: The greatest miracle is not only physical healing, but a life transformed by Christ.

Counsel:

  1. Develop unwavering faith through daily bible study and prayer

  2. Keep seeking God regardless of delays or disappointment.

  3. Refuse to allow your circumstances to define your future

  4. Obey God’s word even when it requires courage.

  5. Testify about God’s goodness to strengthen the faith of others.

  6. Remember that Jesus cares about every detail of your life.
