"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." - Romans 12:1

 

Facts about Consecration  

  1. Consecration is not losing your life; it is giving your life to the one who can make it meaningful (Rom 12:1)
  2. A youth that is separated unto God will never be wasted by the world (2 Tim. 2:21).
  3. Consecration is the doorway to divine power, purity and purpose (Joshua 3:5)
  4. When young people choose holiness, heaven releases influence upon their generation. Heaven gives them capacity to influence their generation positively (1 Tim. 4:12).
  5. God doesn't use only talented people; he uses consecrated people for the advancement of the kingdom (Isaiah 6:8)
  6. Your dedication to God today will determine your distinction tomorrow (Daniel 1:8)
  7. Consecration is saying YES to God even when your flesh says no (Galatians 5:16)
  8. A consecrated heart becomes a dwelling place for God's glory (1 Cor. 6:19-20)
  9. You can't carry fire for God while playing with sin (2 Tim. 2:19).
  10. Purity isn't old-fashioned; it is kingdom-power in action (Matthew 5:8)
  11. The future belongs to youths who can stand for God when others bow to compromise (Romans 12:2).
  12. Consecration may cost comfort but it produces eternal impact (Phil. 3:7-8).
  13. The strength of a believer is not in the physical appearance but in spiritual discipline. 

    An undisciplined Christian will be disciplined (1 Cor. 9:25-27).

  14. God can raise one consecrated youth to change an entire generation or organisation (Jer. 1:7-8)
  15. Prayer, purity and obedience are the pillars of consecration (Luke 1:16)
  16. The altar of consecration is where destinies receives direction (Gen. 12:7-8).
  17. Young people who can walk with God will never walk in darkness (John 8:12)
  18. Consecration is refusing temporary comfort and pleasures for eternal purpose (Heb. 11:24-26)
  19. Your private devotion determines your public manifestation (Mark 1:35)
  20. A generation that fears God will become a generation that carries revival (Psalm 24:3-4)
  21. Consecrated youths are heaven's answer to a corrupt generation
  22. God entrusts major assignments to dedicated people  

 

How to live a life of Consecration and Dedication  

  1. It starts with genuine salvation  
  2. Maintain a daily prayer life because a prayerless believer becomes vulnerable  
  3. Study the word of God consistently (Psalm 119:9)
  4. Avoid sinful association (1 Cor. 15:33)
  5. Not everyone should have access to your life
  6. Guide your eyes and mind because what enters your mind affects your spirit  
  7. Be careful what you watch and listen to and what you entertain. Live a disciplined life
  8. Engage in spiritual fasting  
  9. Stay active in Kingdom service  
  10. Be accountable. Have spiritual mentors and godly relationships. 
  11. Avoid secret lifestyle  
  12. Renew your consecration daily
