Text: Psalm 85:6

The concept of revival can be split into 2: Re – again; Viva– Power, restoration. When combined, “revival” essentially means “to bring back to life” or “to restore to a previous, more vital state.

Revival means to restore, recover, revitalize, repair and bring back to life. Aside this, it means:
– Reawakening of man to spiritual consciousness.
– Moving from where you are to where God wants you to be.
– Divine and spiritual intoxication.
– Total restoration of joy and gladness. Psalm 51:12.
– Quicken a man according to Gods words.
– Supernatural outburst of Gods words
– Acute hunger for God.

God desires that we should be revived, and He needs to activate our soul to be in sync with the spirit in order for us to have dominion.

 

Majorly, the reason God wants us to be revived is to make us be in conformity with His will, aligning our thoughts, actions, and lives with His divine purpose and character.
